Director of Hitting, Assistant Baseball Coach

A former standout at Troy University, Logan was a Louisville Slugger All-American, a two-time First Team All-Sun Belt selection, and the Sun Belt Preseason Player of the Year. Known for his consistency, power, and advanced offensive approach, he finished his career among Troy’s all-time leaders in multiple offensive categories and established himself as one of the premier hitters in college baseball.

Prior to Troy, Logan earned First Team All-Area and All-State honors in high school and was a member of Shelton State’s 2009 state championship team. His success at every level of play reflected a high baseball IQ and the kind of offensive consistency that set him apart throughout his career.

Following his standout collegiate career, Logan was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 15th round of the 2013 MLB Draft, adding professional-level experience and insight into the demands of player development at the highest levels of the game.

At Gulf South Academy, Logan leads the development of hitters through a college-style training model focused on swing efficiency, offensive approach, pitch recognition, situational hitting, and confidence at the plate. His ability to turn high-level playing experience into clear, teachable instruction makes him an important resource for players preparing for the next level.

Logan’s combination of playing success, professional experience, and commitment to offensive development makes him a key part of the academy’s mission to prepare complete players for future opportunities.
